Send an extra snack with your child to enjoy before or during the class.

Dismissal

Dismissal is through the front doors, which will be locked. Please adhere to the following dismissal guidelines: Club leaders will bring students to the front of the school at 4:00.  Adults that are picking-up children will form a carline and stay in their vehicles.  A PTO representative will approach your car and confirm which child(ren) you are picking up.  Once your child is safely in your vehicle, please follow typical carline procedure.

E-Zone students also attending EDEP will return to EDEP after their E-Zone club is finished at 4:00 pm.

E-Zone classes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday end at 4:00 PM sharp. Please respect the instructors’ schedules and be on time to pick up your child.

Available E-Zone Classes (organized by day of the week):

*Photography Club* - Mondays, Grades 4-5

Focus will be on outdoor photography (unless weather keeps us inside), with different themes each week (landscape, textures, macro, portraits, etc). We will begin with some basic instruction in elements of photography (light, composition, etc), move outdoors for the majority of our sessions, and then share created photos (with some instruction in editing). Students will need to provide their own camera. Phones with a decent camera would also work, though actual digital cameras would be preferred. Cameras/phones can be stored in Mr. Green’s room during the school day for safe keeping if desired.

We will learn the basics of hockey, and practice skills such as passing, shooting and positioning. We will also focus on safety and good sportsmanship. Girls and boys encouraged to participate... many of the skills can carry over to field hockey, as well. Since it is an unfamiliar sport for most, everyone will enter on a level playing field.
